To take either the Early Childhood or Elementary I course, a course in Child Development or Child Psychology is required. This must be from an accredited two or four year college, the course grade must be a "B" or better, and the course must have been within the last five years.
If a student does not have this prerequisite, it can be met by taking any course as described above prior to the start of classes.
