Montessori Director

Evergreen Academy Montessori is growing. Our newest school will be located in Issaquah, WA opening July 2012. We are looking for a committed, experienced educator who wants to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while effectively and efficiently managing the business of a Montessori community. Position starts April 2012.

Leads the school administration team and has responsibility for the delivery of the instructional program and overall operation of the school including: marketing plan implementation, student enrollment, parent and community relations, staff supervision and development, profit and loss management, and facility management.

Education & Credentials:
Montessori Certification
Bachelors Degree Preferred
Minimum of 3 years experience in education administration.
Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in a Montessori classroom

Meets minimum preparation, experience and/or any state required credentials to comply with applicable state regulations and accrediting boards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of principles, techniques, goals and objectives of Montessori Pedagogy.
- Possesses basic math and computer skills.
- Sales and/or marketing experience preferred.

COMMUNICATION & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills for creating productive working relationships.
- Demonstrates ability to manage conflict and creatively problem-solve.
- Responsive and sensitive to needs of parents, students and staff.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with keen attention to detail.
