Prerequisite for Early Childhood and Elementary I

To take either the Early Childhood or Elementary I-II course, a 3 to 5 credit course in Child Development or Child Psychology from an accredited univerity or college is required.

• The course must be from an accredited two or four year college or university
• Your grade must be a "B" or better
• You must have taken the course within the last five years.
• If you have taken this course more than five years ago, you should contact MEIPN for acceptable methods of updating your work.

If you have not met this prerequisite you can do so by taking any course as described above, in person or online, prior to the start of classes.
