MEIPN Programs

PROGRAM LEVELS AND AFFILIATION

MEIPN is the only American Montessori Society affiliate in the Pacific Northwest with  Infant and Toddler, Early Childhood and Elementary I and II teacher preparation programs.  Students completing our courses receive an AMS diploma. AMS is the largest Montessori organization in the United States with over 100 AMS training programs in the U.S. and Internationally.  People recognize the value of the AMS diploma across the entire U.S. and in other countries.  AMS also affiliates schools and these schools are a source of potential jobs for our graduates. PROGRAM ACCREDITATION

Our programs are accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education, or MACTE.  For a teacher preparation program to become MACTE accredited and American Montessori Society affiliated, a rigorous process of evaluation must take place. Detailed standards are set down as to curriculum (both length and content), quality of practicum (student teaching) sites, qualifications of faculty, materials, resources, and so on. PROGRAM LICENSING

MEIPN is licensed under Chapter 28C. 10 RCW of the State of Washington as a private vocational school.
