Evergreen Montessori Academy-Overlake Park, a growing AMS member and nature-based Montessori school in Bellevue, seeks passionate, certified Montessori lead teachers who speak Mandarin.
Qualifications
Excellent Mandarin and English Articulation & Communication Skills
Minimum of an Associate's degree, AMS/AMI, or a MACTE-accredited training certificate.
Strong classroom management, guiding behavior, academic lesson planning & implementation skills
At least two years of lead teacher working experience in a Montessori classroom
A solid commitment to the Montessori philosophy and an embrace and open mindset
Commitment to WA departments' requirements and qualification professional development training
Responsibilities
The teacher will be responsible for delivering an authentic Montessori program, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and respect among children
Make a positive impact on children's education and development
Supervise and manage the classroom, ensuring a clean, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
Foster independence, critical thinking, and self-esteem in children
Maintain open communication with parents, regularly reporting on children's progress
Adhere to licensing guidelines and follow company standards for childcare
Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive and enriching educational experienceAttend and participate in staff meetings, training, school events, and professional development sessions
